A Love for Detail
For three years, he worked closely with over 50 local craftsmen to restore the listed building at Unionsgasse 9 to its original splendour. The restoration of the façade was carried out with the utmost precision by hand. He and his team placed special emphasis on using sustainable materials: exquisite wood, natural clay, lime plaster, and linseed oil paints. Inside, artistic details such as brass elements in herringbone parquet flooring, hand-laid straw marquetry, and glass prisms have been beautifully showcased. The centrepiece of the boutique is a stunning, cantilevered spiral staircase, meticulously designed specifically for Art du Temps.
Guests can indulge in coffee from their own roastery, and the bespoke crockery crafted for the boutique adds a touch of elegance to the ambience. The staff has been specially trained as baristas.
Every detail has been lovingly and thoughtfully executed to create an exclusive, authentic, and sustainable atmosphere.

According to a study by Bain & Company, Generation Z (1997–2012) is projected to account for approximately 25 to 30 per cent of luxury goods purchases by 2030. With this in mind, Cédric has made it his mission to captivate his generation with the craftsmanship of watches and jewellery. “We aim to create a community that shares common values and inspires one another,” he explains. “Art du Temps is to be a place where Generation Z feels at home, connects with like-minded individuals, and discovers the enchanting world of luxury watches and jewellery.”
